Lash Lift – everything you need to know about it
You probably have heard about lash lift or sometimes its called lash lamination or lash perming. Its totally the same treatment just named differently. So what is lash lift and for whom this treatment is best?
If you are one of those lucky ladies who has thick , medium or long natural lashes this treatment is perfect for you. You don’t need any lash extensions. Usually when this type of client comes to our salon for extensions firs time – we advice to start from lash lift as its low maintenance treatment and it last longer than lash extensions.
Lash lift is perfect for ladies who like more natural look or who wears mascara and uses lash curler. After this treatment you can ditch your lash curler because your lashes will be looking fabulous without it! You can go to sauna, swimming pool, sun bed and forget about mascara.

So whats involved in a lash lift treatment?
On your consultation day your lash artist will check your natural lashes and advice you if this treatment is best for you. Also same day patch test will be performed. This needs to be done to make sure that you don’t develop an allergy to any of lash lift products which will be used on your lash lift day . If patch test results are clear we can proceed with treatment (patch test must be done minimum 24 hours prior treatment).
Usually treatment takes from 1h to 1,5 hours depending on products used and lash artists experience.
You will need to lay down on a lash bed, close your eyes and relax. Your lash lady will place eye pads on your bottom lashes and lash shields on top of your eyelids, then your natural lashes will be lifted on those shields using water based glue and special tool to lift lashes. You might feel slight pulling but its totally normal – we need to make sure that all lashes are lifted and straightened before products are placed. When all lashes are lifted on a shields – your therapist will place special lifting solutions (there are 2 of them) .This step takes around 15 minutes. After second solution is removed tint is applied. If you dont want your lashes tinted – let your therapist know before treatment. After lash tinting follows lash nourishment or lash Botox (special product used to deeply nourish lashes and give them a healthy shiny look). Lash nourishment is the last treatment step. Your lash lady will clean everything off your eyes and removes shields. Your beautiful, natural looking and curled lashes will last around 6- to 8 weeks depending how fast your natural lashes are growing.
Make sure that you look after your new lashes by using special moisturiser (you can buy one in our salon) . If Aftercare is not followed – lashes can become dry and look messy.
